Arixtra and Breastfeeding

Because it is not known if Arixtra (fondaparinux) passes through breast milk in humans, the manufacturer of the drug recommends that women use this medication with caution while breastfeeding. Arixtra is known to pass through breast milk in rats, so it's possible that it may pass through human breast milk.
