Hemophelia

Were you looking for information about Hemophilia? Hemophelia is a common misspelling of hemophilia.

Hemophilia is a rare bleeding disorder that prevents the blood from clotting properly. It is caused by a defect in one of the genes that determines how the body makes certain blood-clotting factors. People with the disease may bleed for a longer period of time following an accident or injury and may also bleed internally. Treatment for hemophilia usually involves replacement therapy, which consists of replacing the low or missing clotting factors back into the bloodstream.
