Is It Safe for Children to Use Nascobal?

Nascobal has not been adequately studied in children. Doses of vitamin B12 in children should generally not exceed the recommended amounts. The amount of vitamin B12 contained in the nasal spray may be too high for the treatment of children. Talk to your child's healthcare provider about the risks and benefits of using this medication in a child.

Off-Label Uses for Nascobal

On occasion, healthcare providers may recommend medications for something other than the officially approved uses. This is known as an "off-label" use. At this time, there are no well-accepted off-label uses for Nascobal.
