Blood Home > Trental Drug Interactions

Theophylline
Taking Trental with theophylline may increase theophylline levels in the blood. Check with your healthcare provider before taking these medications. If you must take them together, make sure to watch for any signs of theophylline toxicity (see Theophylline Overdose).

Final Thoughts

It is possible that not all drug interactions with Trental were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about specific interactions that may apply to you.

It is always a good idea to give your healthcare provider a complete list of all medications you are taking, including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, herbs, and supplements.
